listen, you don't have to go posting all that stuff...I KNOW IT ALL.... friends of mine have DONE IT.... Y-O-U D-O N-O-T H-A-V-E T-O E-X-P-L-A-I-N the geometry and the physics behind rake and trail to me! ....IT CAN BE DONE, with a little care...I-T C-A-N B-E D-O-N-E
...and keep up the belligerence and i'll contact the forum moderators and suggest they ban you for your language and inappropriate name calling! ...we'll let them be the judge on who's making personal attacks.....if you can't take being called a "clown" then i suggest YOU leave
I have an 04 lowrider. stock neck rake is 32 degrees. Replaced front end with stock 3 degree WG and 3 degree cups. had to lower the rear by 1" to maintain level. I have been up to 115 with the windshield and solid as a rock. As a matter of fact the faster you go the more stable it becomes. However it is just a little heavy on the front at slow speed though.
The new dynas have a 29degree rake so keep that in mind as you go through the calculations.
ORIGINAL: DiabloBlanco Here are pics of my Accutronix wide glide front on my 05 Super I really like the look.

looks good!
now - what to do with those crappy stock bars?
only reason I comment on bars is that I have the same dilema.
I put a MID-GLIDE front end on mine, and I love it. I also put 4" risers on. But, I hated the bars and the way the speedo looked. I noticed you have the same problem. That speedo is obnoxious. So, I put 24" drag bars on, and tear drop mirrors. Now, the speedo blends in nice with the mirrors, and isn't nearly as obnoxious:
Here's what it was like before the drags:
This was a low cost alternative to getting a digital speedo and looks a LOT better.
No offense, but the Speedo looks pretty much the same to me.
A better alternative is the Accutronic guage mount ($100)with a 2005 style housing.
We did this to my brother's 2006 Superglide. You canadjust the speedo higher or lower.
Careful Mascman, or 02FXDCustom will express how angry his is with your opinion and then start calling you names .... he's pretty tough, so be careful ..... LOL!
Thanks for the pics. I do like the idea of being able to move the speedo down.
I think the housing style required is 2004, my 2005 housing looks the same as the 2006.
I like the idea of the risers and drag bars, I do not want to perch the speedo on top of the risers, but I'm also not fond of spending $200+ for the new housing and accutronix bracket.

I wasn't sure on the year of the bracket required...maybe someone knows for sure?
I got the bracket on Ebay for $10 and the gauge mount was $100.
Handlebars and Risers were $35 each from www.KCInt.com for a total of $170 for the whole setup...not too bad.
