nice work!!! how much was the kit??? looks like stock legs but the trees, spacers and other goodies needed are all par tof the kit right?? again how much and where you get. i would love to do this and have been lookin at options that let you keep the existing fork legs. thanks
Got it all from JP Cycles in the 2007 Big Book on page 784 part is the 39mm Triple tree conversion kit from Accutronix $759.99. All of the needed parts are included fender spacers etc. Pretty easy to do With some unique thinking had to put the trees in the freezer for about an hour prior to installing the bearing. Once the part is cold the bearing drops right in no pounding needed. It was recomended to be done this way from the factory. Pretty interesting I thought. Next is gonna be the chromed lowers
nice work! thanks 4 the info. ya the freezer trick is great i use it for pistions and wrist pins all the time. you but the pin in the freezer and the piston in the sun and then they slide right together.
JS no they are not raked. It keeps the stock angles. Just the wider look. Did forget though had to buy the neck post bearing and teh dust covers. But worth it I think.

looks good!
now - what to do with those crappy stock bars?
only reason I comment on bars is that I have the same dilema.
I put a MID-GLIDE front end on mine, and I love it. I also put 4" risers on. But, I hated the bars and the way the speedo looked. I noticed you have the same problem. That speedo is obnoxious. So, I put 24" drag bars on, and tear drop mirrors. Now, the speedo blends in nice with the mirrors, and isn't nearly as obnoxious:
Here's what it was like before the drags:
This was a low cost alternative to getting a digital speedo and looks a LOT better.
