The part is called Gauge Mount Adapters for T-Bars...if you search, you'll find a better price online. They are $122 retail, but you should get them for around $100.
Masc -
You're correct - the bracket can be had for just under $100
The 2004 style speedo housing (in chrome) adds around $80 - this is discounted as the stock HD part is more. I'd want the chrome, but some will want black. I noticed your pics - some with chrome dash - others with black - what was the eventual solution?
I could not find the risers at the web site that you referenced - got a part #? Are they 1" or 1 /14". Sorry so many questions.
ah, hate to bust your hump, 02....i first called you a clown in post 20...that first edit where you THINK i took out where i called you a clown was an edit i madebecause i wanted to add that last sentence about "rake and trail" ....and if that WAS the first time i called you a clown, i think you would have started chastising me with the next post where you quoted me....instead of:
"Wrong. Do the research. Sorry, accutronix and all those guys will sell you ANYTHING."
...and all the wonderful, graphical information you posted, thereafter...
you wanted to get into an argument with me with the post that begins with the above sentence...and i knew it...and so it wasn't until the following post (#20) did i first call you a clown......you clown!
...and if i did call you a clown in the post that you said i edited it out of, i think you would have drove that point home in the following post....furthermore, you "quoted" what i said about 20 minutes after i made the edit with the last sentence....
are you saying i went back hours later or even days later and edited out what you claim i said- which was calling you a clown, then?
well...that would make no sense considering you grabbed the quote so soon after i posted it...???
check the time when i made the edit, and when you grabbed it as a quote
and so i ask you, 02....if this is about- as you claim- me saying exactly what you were saying about it all....then why would you start an argument with me?
cause frankly, I was the one who was virtually in agreement with you...but for some reason, YOU wanted to be confrontational and argumentative...and THAT is why i called you a clown...cause it was actually funny what you were doing
so again, i ask you, if you were claiming that I was saying the same thing as you about all this rake and trail stuff, then why would you post this:
"Wrong. Do the research. Sorry, accutronix and all those guys will sell you ANYTHING."
....you were looking for an argument, 02, admit it....and you wanted to be arrogant....and i called you on it, followed by the "clown" comment.... and then your chastising and belligerence began
js1268, I'm not a moderator, but is is pretty uncool to be hjacking this thread from DiabloBlanco likeyou are. You should make your own post in OFF TOPIC and maybe have an argument there...or just let it go.
glide05 - If you are referring to the tank console, my brother changed it to chrome. The speedo bracket was found on Ebay for $10.00 and has always been black. The risers are 1 1/4" thick. www.kcint.com also has T-bars for a very good price if you want a one-piece setup.
**I've also noticed that sometimes the items aren't listed on KC Internationals site. This means they are out of stock at the moment, so keep checking back till you see them.**
