I've said this more than a few times to Harley riding buddies. Get rid of those junk bias-ply tires and go to radials. You'll be so freakin happy you did. Myself, I've run Metzler 880's, 888's and Avon Cobra Chromes. All of them are a huge upgrade but I have stuck with the Avon's for the past 4 tires and I'm completely happy with them.
Any recommend for new tires for our 2011 FatBob, I like the idea of radials, but open minded & would like advice/recommendations.
Thanks, Graham.

Thanks guys, i appreciate your replies, i had already done a few searches on the Forum before posting, but the threads i found where from a few years ago & i thought it would be worth getting up to date info.
I think i'd prefer to keep the stock sizes if possible,so do you guys know if the Cobras come in stock sizes for the FatBob ?.
Also could you point me towards any online/mail order suppliers(cheapest possible ) for the Cobras(in the US), i'd be ordering from here(UK) & a lot of US retail outlets are blocking content to UK ip addresses.
Cheers, Graham.

Plus Me Too....
Avon Cobra Chrome.....sticky and comfy....fwiw....I probly read every recent thread on tire choice before deciding on them....having said that many swear by Pirelli Night Dragons and Michelin Commander II.....my goal was control and stickiness over mileage. Those that ride daily for many miles may go for mileage instead....just depends

Wait, you want to order British tires from a US dealer and import them into the UK? Won't the shipping and duty kill the deal, no matter how good the price?

No i'm not trying to buy in the US to ship back to the UK ,we keep the bike at friends near Nashville & go riding with them on our holidays in the states LOVE IT,so I want to order tires before we get to the US, so they're ready to fit when we get there, if the Flights start again this year because of the dreaded Covid.
To be honest the stock tires have been fine but they need replacing & I just fancy Radials & there is no way on gods earth I could wear my pegs out with SWMBO on the back.
