Default Fat Bob tire replacement options

What are the tire options out there for the Fat Bob FXDF tires? The current Dunlop D427F 130x90/16 and 180x70/16 are crap, expecially in the rain. Want something more sport oriented rather than the dual purpose HD put on the Fat Bob.

Is it possible to put radials, if I can find the right size, on a Fat Bob?

I put on ME 880 MARATHON's on front and back. You can fit bigger tires on the stock rims.
Im running 200 on the rear and a 150 on the front, love the handling.

Default Metz 880 recall

just saw this recall on the Metz 880 in the FXDF front tire size: minor just stamping load information.

With all the Metz 880 problems in the past from Brzilian tires, are there any other tire options out there for the Fat Bob?

So don't believe the myth that stock Fat Bob, goofy treaded D427s are crap, they are indeed superb roadholders and longlasting as well.

My stock front one is feathered all to hell but I agree I've grinded my pegs pretty darn good on my trip to the dragon... I plan on keeping my stockers as spares but will be upgrading to the Avons at some point...

My rear stocker has 9700 miles on it. May be able to get another 2k out of it. Not to bad. Who's got the best price on stock replacement tires?

Neat suspension lineup in your sig! I have just put Ohlins on my dresser. I put Avons above all the other tyre options. Go to their website for their recommendations for your model.
