Open turn signal not working
Hi everyone. Had a problem with my 2014 Dyna Low Rider. Both left & right as well as the Tail light / Brake Light not working. Throwing codes of 2151, 2156 & 2161 which translates to all three circuits "Open". Front signals work just fine, but not the back. After running a zillion tests & even pulling the rear wiring harness out from inside the rear fender, swapping out turn signals, scouring the wiring diagrams, everything checked out individually along with resistance tests & continuity checks. Put a 9volt battery to each one & they all worked on the bench. What the Hell ??!!. then for ***** & giggles I powered everything back up again & alligator clipped a separate ground wire to the existing ground post on the rear circuit board t& touched it to the frame. "BINGO" !! Everything works. Why it needs a separate ground I don't know, but it works. Anyway, being new here I thought I'd offer my two cents to see if it would help anyone else.

Good to know - thanks. May want to look at your wiring diagram and see if there is a separate ground somewhere in the circuit that may have gotten broken. Oh And Welcome to the Forum.
