Those wheels are a lot like the ones on my Sportster. When I got it the wheels were in big-time need of cleaning. I used one of these polishing kits and the wheels came out great; a mirror finish. Time consuming but worth it.

Thanks. I’m not sure I’d want to polish them though. They’re a very rough surface on the spokes. The sides of the rim is smooth though.

Oh yea, I just did the smooth surfaces; my spokes are rough as well. On those I just scrubbed them really well.

Hi! I have a 2005 Super Glide Custom and I really want to remove the headlamp visor cover (the little hat on top off the headlight). It seems to be bolted to the headlight? Has anyone else done this?

That’s what your headlight is mounted to. You’ll have to convert it to a bottom mount light like the Wide Glide has.

Thanks for the help.
Okey thats what I thought. Can I use the headlight i already own and mount it like that or will I have to buy a brand new?
Im open to buying a black headlight. What else do I need?
Which would be the easiest most cost efficient way?

I think you can use the same light but I’ve never done that job before. So I can’t say for sure. You can search this forum, there’s probably a bunch of threads already out there or even start a separate thread. You’ll get an answer.
