Just picked up an 05 Dyna, pretty new to working on Harleys this is my first bike.
Wondering if anyone has any information on a cable kit that's compatible with 6.5inch pull back risers and mid bars. I can only find a cable kit for ape hangers that range from 12inch to 16 inch. I believe I only need 4-5 inches of extension. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
Got one more question haha, the speedometer on my bike is part of the top clamp for the stock bar risers. Do you know of any aftermarket brands that are for sure compatible with the speedometer. I'm having trouble finding information on that. Would like to go with 6.5 to 7inch pull backs if that helps. Or if there's a relocation kit.

I think you can buy the speedo housing for a Sportster or Super Glide like this one and just put your speedo inside it... There are also relocation kits to mount it to the triple tree or the upper fork. Clicky the linky... dyna speedometer relocation - Google Search
They can make beautiful and reasonably priced cables for you that will look nice, function perfectly and just bolt in.
As pointed out above, you may have room in your stock loom to extend the wiring.
I put 10" buckhorns on my 2011 FXDC and I picked up a wiring loom extension kit from EBay that worked like a charm. Then I had Magnum cable make me some custom cables and it all went together easily.
I was totally surprised at how much hassle it is to just put longer bars on the bike but in the end it made it easy to ride with a perfect fit for the grips.
