Totaled street bob
[X(]yep I totaled it they found me 100 feet away from the bike I dont remember what happened they said it look like a car hit me as I was getting on the interstate. 6 broke ribs, 2 collar bones, right arm pinned, 4 vertebrate (broke middle of my back), skull broke in 2 places, and broken jaw. 5 weeks in hospital and I"M Walking And ready for another in time. They say it will be a year before I'm back to normal. Anyway keep a helmet in mind the doc's said if I would have worn 1 I would be able to walk better and not have memory loss. Keep on riding Mike

Sorry to hear about your ride bro. At least you're alive and will be able to ride another day. You can pick up a new ride any day but you just can't find another body for sale. Good luck and hope you heal up soon.

Damn dude that sucks (obviously). Hope they nail the bastard that hit you.
Just heard about a guy here in the Bay Area that got taken out by a chick in her Escalade on a cell phone. She kept driving till someone chased her down and ran her off the road. Apparently she claimed that she thought she'd only "bumped" him so kept driving (bike was totaled as was the front of her truck).
I have no pity for hit and run drivers.

sorry to hear what happend i hope they catch whoever it was that hit you just take your time and rest as much as you can. a bike can be replaced.

Sorry to hear about your accident mate, and as everyone else has said, hang in there, you will ride again.
In reference to the Escalade accident, the chick obviously thinks it is OK to "bump" a biker, and keep going.
What a looser. Take her license off her, and let her walk.

Very sorry to hear,Mike Something like that happened to me in 83. fractured skull Brain Contusion. The guy just left. Never did Find who it was. Helmet? I do now!
