if you can afford it forget the price, but get the best deal you can, buy the bike you want..you will never regrett it..myself I like the cheaper models, FLHT and FXD, but then I make them into MY bike..the FLHT my wife picked out because of the big seat, I have never regretted it, she now rides with me a lot more then she used to.and it is a very good bike, both in black of course.
i am right there with you. since it is a new bike I doubt i will get anythign off of the price, but i will try to work out something with the service plan maybe
have to wait until spetember for fat bobs to come in. i go to different dealerships every day so i can get a feel for where i want to buy it from. will most likely end up picking it up from the place closest to home. being from milwaukee, there are about 6 LDs within 30 miles of my house
When I first started thinking about buying a Harley, many friends suggested a "starter bike". I did not want to start out with a Harley that I really didn't want. So, my first bike I went full bore. Haven't regreted it since.
Them "what if's" will kill ya.
Right now is the best time to go in and deal with the H-D salesman. Look at what they have and try to make deals with them. H-D has good interest rates thru this month and the bikes still has the factory warranties. They are even offering in house money to spend on yer bike too.
If I hadn't of made a deal last August on my 07 Wide Glide. I would be trying right now to buy the same bike.
