Thinking about putting FXDC shocks on my SG.
Just wanting to know if there are any issues with scraping on either side on tight turns? On my Sporty when I lowered it I encountered that some. Actually pretty happy with SG as is but would like to lower it an inch or so if I can. Also thinking about lowering the front forks an inch as well.
Sure do love this bike. There is the fifth gear noise others have but I will live with that to have the rest of the things about this bike.

If you like the way it handles/looks? Why change it? FWIW people NEVER consider thatA shock is NOT designed to be installed on ALL bikes. Sure shock manufacturers make shocks, but they make shocksdesigned for SPECIFIC applications. The loads, forces and weights ofa Sporty or Dyna are considerably less than the requirements of a loadedbagger. Lowering "kits" while millions are on the road drastiacally increase the forces transmitted to the frame and swingarm and usually decrease suspension travel.Think high school geometry (leverage).
