Without going back through the entire thread, can you relist everything you did to the motor and was it stock when you started?
Absolutely, the motor was stock prior to me tearing it down last winter.
Currently it was bored from an 88" to 98" with new pistons, etc.
New 57H cams with SE cam plate, high flow oil pump, new bearings, tensioner shoes, and lifters.
All the gaskets have been replaced from the base up to the rocker covers.
Push rods are still stock push rods, kept them the same since the top end was already off.
Intake and exhaust gaskets were replaced as well.
I imagine you had head work.. Don't think the 57 cam would work with the 2006 down heads...
No head work, according to Andrews the 2006 dynas had the larger heads that were introduced in the 07's with the 96". That was the cams their engineer recommended.

Didn't realize it was a Dyna and yes that is correct.. Should go nicely.. Are you able open your tune on your computer and check you IAC settings and compare them to the stock tune settings?

I can I just downloaded the software to my laptop at work so I should be able to check that tomorrow. Have to figure out how to do that first. I haven't messed with the tuner or the software any more than flashing the eco with the new tune yet.
Part of another project i'm working on. I have a rigid springer i'm in the process of putting back together. The frame was rattle canned when I got it and the paint was starting to peal, so I stripped it all down and had the frame powdercoated.

Nice, I have a place in my Heart for Evo's... My 97" fatboy is a real sleeper... You should do a build thread on that as well in the Evo or Custom section...

I will do that, that is the next one going on the lift after the dyna is back running correctly. I do love my evo's. I have a 93 ultra as well that I am currently repairing. The damn ignition switch went out in it and it's a pain to get to, but that one should be back together next week. Just waiting on one more part for it.
