One of the things I most enjoy in life is riding my Dyna hard. It's a 2015 Low Rider that I purchased in 2017. After four years adding 24,000 miles to it, I have yet to experience any kind of wobble. I've never kept a bike this long and I look forward to adding many more miles to it over the coming years. Curiously, back in 1980 I had a BMW750 (R75/5); I only discovered last year that they were renowned for having tank slappers that resulted in serious injury or death. It's a good thing we didn't have the internet back then with articles to scare the living daylights out of me.

I almost hesitate to post this article because it will give the guy more clicks.
In 10 Cruiser Bikes You'll Most Likely Regret Buying the author puts the Dyna at #1, saying, "For many this is the staple Harley, it is also one of the most dangerous motorcycles still on the road. The Dyna Death Wobble affects pretty much all Dyna motorcycles, speed wobbles happen all the time but with the Dyna there is no recovery, only tarmac, tree, pain, and maybe death."
Journalism is basically dead these days, and this kind of tripe is an example why. I've read about death wobble but haven't experienced it in the 25K miles I put on mine. Then again this could be my last post, I might ride my death machine again.
I loved the 2009 I once owned. `Never had an issue with it, especially anything related to a wobble. In fact, I liked it so much I upgraded the pipes for an even better sound and also the air cleaner. The only reason I traded it was I wanted a CVO and I got a good deal on it too. Here`s a photo of the Dyna:
I have an 08 FXD. Was fine going 130mph at the beginning of the season with bald/scalloped michelin commander 2s, and a worn out front motor mount. Put a bikers choice motor mount and commander 3s on at the same time....wobbles like crazy at 85mph. People riding behind me can clearly see it

I have Commander 3's on my Dyna as well. I had some vibration/wobble in the front. I talked to a local Indie, he said that he doesn't use wheel weights, but prefers Dynanbeads or Ride-On for balancing purposes. I took off my weights and added the recommended amount of Ride-On, and voila, smooth as silk. Hope this helps.

What pipes are those, and are they louder than the Vance and Hines straight shots?
My old friend asked me back in the day why I would buy an American motorcycle? Well the answer was easy, because I was an American.
I modified my dyna to the point of perfection and absolutely love it I ride this bike hard and not afraid at any speed.
If you love your bike then please modify the mounts and suspension and go have a blast.

They look like Vance and Hines Big Radius. Not my bike but I had a set on my Dyna when I bought it. They are loud, I would say comparable to Short Shots. Might sound a little louder because the sound echoes off the pavement a bit.
