Hey I’m just relaying what I’ve read and been told several times. No need to attack my credibility mother f’er. Go back to your outhouse.

OP, I’m just kidding. Suede and I are old friends.

Firstly, I just want to apologize to Member Mchad for my post after his that could be construed as rude and a sabotage of his previous post, nothing could be further from the truth! Mchad is one of the square'ist dealers in the Forums and always has accurate and up to date knowledge and goes out of his way to be helpful and kind! If you ever deal with him I guarantee you'll get better than you give!

Mchad is infinitely smarter and better looking than I am and dog-gone it, people like him!

And as far as butt-connectors go I can assure you his in-depth knowledge is bottomless whereas I only know from what I've heard in passing or voices in stairwells

My post didn't come off like I wanted it to, it was late and the sun was in my eyes!

I just wanted to say I've made a solder or two on my bike and I don't like taking MOCO's word on some things and enjoy proving them wrong. I'm probably wrong here but I'd like to see the OP's pics of this cut and solder work cause if there's a will there's a way! "Never give up, never surrender!"

But in the words of one of my favorite song writer (who is also an a-hole) "take my advice, don't listen to me!"

Finished the Butt splices and the new bars!! Atleast the bike runs until i can order new hand controls and do the job right. Butt splices were also shrink wrapped and fit perfectly into the new bars…The new bars finish the look and feel of my ride. Thanks to all that gave me advice…

Hey bro I was just curious if you could possibly share the wiring configuration for these Chinese hand controls that you have because I literally have the same exact ones and am having trouble figuring out how to wire them up properly to my bike. So if maybe you could help me out with figuring out what the configuration is for the Chinese controls I would greatly appreciate it.
