a VPC stands for Variable Pressure Clutch. Its an add on item to your existing clutch and its supposed to improve the clutching action... or something along those lines.
I figured there would be more than one person that has installed. I wanted to put this poll in the clutch section, but no polls allowed there.
I installed one.
Install was easy - there is a great post here in the forums (not dyna) with pics and details.
Personally - I did not enjoy the reduced effort clutch pull. Lost some feel.
I took it out after a few hundred miles.
I think the idea is good - if you have the TC88 - bump up and buy one intended for a 95+ build.
i got the 83T for my 98 night train, it had 101hp and was the best thig i bought, if u set it up corect its a lot of fun , ie making ur backend go sideways is a brease while going at say 25mph, i pulled it out b4 i sold the night train and now it lives in the 07 bob, in the 98 i ran a SE heavy duty sping/presure plate, in the 07 its still stock with the VPC in there ,
problem: with the SE sping it near imposible to pull the clutch in at high rpm
++++ when i was racing it there was never a need to use the clutch in the shifts, not sure if it the huge backing of preasure that allows this or not , but i can also do it in the 07 , and i mean its like shifting with the clutch, no hard stuff here
if u go via HIPPO in UK ull get a great $ and he can tell u the corect 1 for ur needs , also he will email you the complete instuctions

That man can ride and lives up to his name of "Crazy Tak" The phot is the weekend before he left to go to US. Im the ugly American in the shot. Tak to the left a friend to the right and me in back
