Just installed a SE clutch spring. Is it supposed to be that difficult to pull back ? The standard clutch was easy but i could tell i got slippage. I have a modified engine with 100/100 .

Its not that much difference in lever action with just the diaphram spring adder. I installed that plus Barnett's clutch plates. I installed the Barnett kit that add's a clutch plate to the stack. You will notice that difference in clutch pull.
I was told that all it takes to install the SE clutch spring is a snap ring,is that right?
Theres a snap ring that has to be snapped out. The bolts taken out then it falls off. YOu have to take the primary plate off also, the clutch spring wont fit through the dirby hole.
As for the clutch feeling a little stronger ! Bull hocky, its a lot stronger. Takes effort to pull the clutch but it flat out inguages the clutch. You may think your clutch dont slip, if youve had any mods done, i would say its a must. I really felt the difference. Its just harder to pull the clutch back now and I wanted to know if that was normal.

I just installed one also, you are 100% in your description. I guess I got spoiled with the stock clutch pull. When I first bought the bike 1 1/2 yrs ago, I couldn't believe how light the clutch pull was compared to my 97' Sportster, now with the SE spring it is like the Sportster was. Gonna take some getting used to.
