I've seen this a few times over the years on Dyna's and Baggers at the local dealer. Always some guy with this same problem of vibration and it is usually a defective/broken front motor mount. Looks like any bugs with the mount usually crop up within the first 5000 miles.
With that low milage, you got's a pretty new bike that is just broken in. Enjoy it and congrats.

Yup, there's a link here, somewhere, about defective front motor mounts. The new ones are designed different, and look different. It "should" be a re-call, but you know the "stealerships"

My stealer mentioned something about not being able to use a warranty because I am the second owner. My bike is an 01. Do you know of a source where one can find recalls by HD?

The warranties are transferrable, but recalls are not.
For some reason, manufacturers are allowed to only do recalls on vehicles owned by the original purchaser if they feel like it.
