Loving this mainly all stock 99' FXDX I picked up a few months back. Only thing I'd like to change up is the bar height. I know swapping to totally different bar/riser setup (T-bars) requires quite a bit of work and time.
I'd like to try taller risers first to see if the change will suffice. I'd like to avoid having to change anything to do with the wiring, cables and brake line. Based on some research here on the forums it *sounds* like 4" risers is max w/o having to mess with the other stuff.
I have an 01 FXD that has the same bars as yours. I ordered some 8 pullback risers and they bolted on with the stock wiring etc . I dont think I could go any higher though.
