Cardboard, that video you've got is exactly the sound I was looking for. I think I'll take you're advice and go with the FatCat, but I was looking to K&N for the breather. Million mile warranty, 2 1/4" thick and keep the stock look. I like to be the "sleeper" when it comes to the look. Not sure about the TM and doing it myself ... Can't be any worse than working with Bill Gates' crap!

You can get the Screamin' Eagle backing plate for about $40, and the round K&N for it for about $30. Order the K&N through Advance Auto Parts.
You can then put your stock cover on, but will have a better system than just getting the stock replacement filter.
We listed all the part #s needed, if you search you can get a list. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was 2 o-rings and 2 oil breathers and some bolts.

I got the quiet baffle in my D&D too. The TM ain't that bad. I can help you git one and the person that sales it to you or I can try helping you install it. Let me know. 'On the air kit go with either /se high flow or Big Sucker.
Cardboard, thanks for all the help. I got to get a little $ put back so I can get this stuff and get on this winter. I'll definately take you put on the offer to help set up the TM. I've been looking at the SE breather, looks like the same thing I saw at K&N. I'll do little more research on that, but I'll definately go BIG 'cause the next thing is gonna be a head job and new cams. That means lots more low end but lots more $$$ to boot. I just love wastin' the Stars off the line, but my bud can still take me on the top end.
Mascman, thanks for the info. That's a lot better than the prices K&N has for the kit. Looks like the hardest part to find is the bolt extenders. Should be able to get those at an industrial supply or maybe McMaster. Really appreciate the help from everyone. This is my first HD and I'm lovin it more everytime I ride it.
Got a buddy that had to have a K&N, it didn;t come with all the gaskets and O rings and bolts. He had oil blowby when he ran it hard. The oil was under the ari breather on him motor. 'So I don't like what I've seen with K&N Kit.
I got him to git a SE high flow and he said no more leaking oil out the air breather., So be carefu. . You can stick a K&N in the se high flow when you change it if you don't like the SE filter. I haven't had a problem with it. My builder likes the Big Sucker the best. Zippers also makes a good filter kit.

Just get the bolts, O-rings and rubber breather pieces from the dealer.
When youget the K&N filter, make sure you order the one that replaces the SE.
