Hi - I have a 2007 FXDC Dyna Super Glide Custom and would like my stock handlebars to be a little closer to me. Would these fit my bike? Also, what is the riser size of the new risers you put on? Did you have to fool around with/bend anything (such as the metal part of the front brake line?).

Thanks,
Richard

Colorocky..could you take a better pic of your risers? I'm looking for another pair. I'm from Az, going to see the grandkids in Delta (south of Grand Junction) next month. Wife and I have 2 weeks. We plan on doing 1-2 day trips while were there. Maybe we can get together and you can showus some of your surroundings?

I have installed 4" straight risers, no poly bushings that I remember, but mine is an SG with the clamps in the speedo housing. I have not experienced any flex, I tightened the clamps in a star pattern while keeping the bolts snug but tightened the bolts to torque.

Polyurethane is the way to go for sure. If you have anything above a drag bar, you either need them, or will need them soon!

Sal, here's the HD website photo the setback riser (its the one on the bottom right). Feel free to PM me once you get closer to your trip plans and maybe we can point you to some nice rides.

Hey Richard, the risers would fit your bike. They're approx 2.5 inches high and 1.5 inches setback. I haven't had to adjust any cables or bend any metal parts. Fairly easy install, make sure you put a towel over the tank, those bars drop on you, I was anticipating it - knew it was gonna happen - and still gave a little startle. Get those Poly Bushings too!

Thanks HDForum!

Thanks for the push to get the Poly bushings. Exactly what the bars needed. Now they're solid and no play.

Just got done watching that Wild Hogs movie. "Well, Wild Hogs, ride hard or stay home"
