Your 2005 Superglide is a twin cam dyna. Might get more help in another part of the forum as this board is for FXRs which all have evo engines. Good luck
Question, I have a 2004 Dyna Super Glide. If this is not the section for a my twin cam then what part of the forum should I be in other than the section titled Dyna Models. I just want to make sure I am in the correct section for my bike. thanks. wow, these Rush slip-ons sound really mean.

Youre in the right section but you should probably start your own thread to ask your question.
I replied to this thread because the person I was replying to owned a 2005 Dyna Super glide and was told this is not for his bike. I have the same bike except it is an 04 Dyna Twin Cam 88CI. thanks for your help.

No worries, nice bike BTW. I had an 05 and an 02 Super Glide. Great bikes and so much fun to mod and ride.
Make sure to start a thread about your question, you'll get a lot of good knowledge from this bunch.
I have a 02 Super Glide and a 05 Dyna Low-Rider and this is my go-to section for info on my Dynas, so no worries. When you replaced the battery, did you put an overnight charge on the battery using a smart tender? Will the engine turn over when the start button is engaged? If not, remove the round cover on the starter Bendix. Turn the key and push the plunger in to engage the starter, if it starts, and stalls out then you need to diagnose the run issue. Good luck.
