Rear master cylinder options
Are there any after market or replacement options that are an upgrade to stock on a 2017 fxdb? I have a freshly rebuilt tokico caliper, new pads and a Chopper Hauss rotor with good stainless steel brake lines. The master cylinder feel is terrible. Im looking for options that are direct fit or can be made to fit with relative ease. I have access mill/ lathe/ plasma table/ etc. but would prefer not to modify my frame.

The stroke of the master is inconsistent feeling and spongy. The caliper was rebuilt because it was a used caliper and I wanted to go through it to make sure there were no issues, fluid is correct, do not have ABS. I have considered rebuilding the Harley master but its been kinda shitty and weak since new. If there are no better options it will likely be my next step.

Im not sure what the stock rear bore size is, the caliper is off a GSXR 750 and the stock front master from what I can tell is 5/8 but thats pushing fluid to two calipers.

I couldnt find any viable options without fabbing a new mount and since Im without a shop at the moment I decided to just live with it for now.

Sounds like a mismatch in the bores of the master cylinder and the caliper and mentioned above.

Its possible but there shouldnt be any fluid restriction and it is still performing better than the stock brake assembly.
