After about seven years I'm back on a Dyna. Traded off the Road Glide yesterday and brought a 2017 Fat Bob home. Very low mile unit. Previous owner installed a Wide Glide rear fender which I like much better. I'll get some pictures posted up soon. The stock seat and exhaust have to go first. It's getting cold so I'll have a few months to do the mods I want. If anyone has a stock Super Glide or Street Bob head pipes laying around let me know. Good to be back.
I got some from my 09 FXDB take off about two years on them.
Any upgrades I saved the stock.
I also have a saddleman step up brown seat that was used a few months, not that good for my passenger so I took it off.
Great for solo though.
Awesome glad to see another Fatty Owner. I couldn't sit on any other bike but the Fat Bob, 2008 owner here, keep updating on what you do and what parts you use ,
I always thought that the Dyna family of bkes represented the best of Harley-Davidson. They are compact, handle nicely and lend themselves to numerous forms of accessorization. I felt sad when they quit buillding the standard Dyna and went to a softail design. Softails are nice, but have a higher price tax and that limits me to a used Dyna if I want to ride a Harley.
Nice machine you have there. I sure like my Wide Glide.

Would you part with the pipes? I already have a seat coming.
I took it out for a few miles on back roads today. I hadn't rode a Fat Bob since 2012 when I test rode one but ended up buying a new Super. It felt like riding a sport bike compared to the Road Glide. Thanks for the warm welcome back.
I'd like to have another Road Glide one day, but going from Dynas to Touring and back just reaffirms that Dyna is the platform for me and the type of riding I do the vast majority of the time. Bags and fairing come in handy, but I prefer the classic stripped-down aesthetic of my Wide Glide.

Got any pics of the bike that shows the Wide Glide fender?

I just now took these just for you. I like it but I'm wondering if the Fat Bob strut covers could've been left on. I'd like to have original tail light mounts and keep the QD hardware.
