Hey, I've been struggling to find the correct wheels for my bike for a while. I tore the spokes out of my stock rear wheel drag racing, so I need a cast wheel. My struggle is with axle sizes. I have a 1in axle in the rear on my 06 FXDB , which I believe was only used in 05 and 06, correct me if I'm wrong there.
I have found conflicting information everywhere about doing bearing swaps to fit 25mm wheels on, and at this point I'm kinda lost as to where and how I can get a wheel on my bike.
So I'm hoping someone can help me out with some info.
Is there anywhere I could buy a wheel with the appropriate axle size, did they even make cast wheels with 1in axles, and can you do bearing swaps to make modern wheels fit?
Thank you for any info or thoughts you have.
Realized I didn't mention my rim size it is a 17x4.5 rim
The 06-07 Low Riders had cast wheels with those axles but the rims are not as wide as the FXDB. From replacing my 06 Low Rider wheels I can tell you that most aftermarket wheels you'll have to get the bearings separately and have them swapped in to get the proper sizing unless you get OEM 06-07 dyna wheels.

2007 Street bobs have a 1" axle. There are people on here that have all the kits to swap out the axle bearings for what you need, I think someone mentioned him above Multi something or other
You need to first decide which cast wheels you want. The earlier 13 spokes with sealed roller bearings came in a mix of 3/4" and 1" bearing sizes, and even 25mm with the sportsters. The '06-'07 dynas used 1" and the '08+ used 25mm. For my '07, I swapped to mag wheels from a 2014 lowrider. I bought the corresponding 25mm axles and spacers as they are direct fit for the '06-'07. I needed to reuse my 1" rear spacers since the brake caliper bracket is different, but used the new 25mm spacers for the front.
