Best place to buy CAM gear kits?
I would like to buy a complete CAM gear kit for my 03 FXDL, 88 cc. The dealer wants $750 for the complete ss510 kit. Can I get it cheaper else where, I like the idea of buying the kit so I have everything I need to complete the job.

Check ebay, less than $600 from American classics on e-bay with Andrews or S&S cams. Otherwise, Dennis Kirk.com is $411 for the gear kit that will go with Andrews cams plus $280 for camsor $685 for a complete kit with S&S cams.

I am going from stock drive, sorry I am not sure if the stock was chain drive but I think it is.

I was more concerned about the tensioners and the dealer recommended going with a whole gear cam kit.
I start calling around for prices and then another dealer started talking about needing to change the lifts, rods and backing plate.
I just want to make sure I get what I need and don't want to spend a lot of money on things I don't.
