I always keep the old OEM parts... being in CA it's only a matter of time before they start SMOG testing motorcycles.... Those old parts will come in handy if I should need to pass an inspection before I could sell my house and move to a free state...
I have a ton of parts in labelled boxes in the attic...
With few parts, I find creative places to store them....

damn I love the fireplace. Sorry for the late response, I left my lap top at work. I will PM you guys Monday if you want the parts.
I would keep them if I could but I work on bikes out of my office and dont really have a bunch of storage for the big parts.
Now I am thinking I need an old bad block to build me a mach engine for display!
Ok to be fare with everyone, PureHybrid was the first to speak up he and I are checking on the shipping cost to see if it is worth the cost to ship the parts. If he does not want to spend the money I will move to the next guy and see what it would cost to send them to him. IAt least they will go to someone that uses them.
I am a total parts *****. I don't keep everything, but it's pretty close. I would keep the TB and the cylinders at the very least just because those have rework value. Having spare lifters isn't a bad idea either.
I am the same way, I have a ton of parts sitting around in the shed. The thing is, I never seem to have THE part I need when something breaks though...
