HD brand run/turn/brake module... any issues?
That is better then what I have but at the time, it was illegal in VA. Not sure about now. I'm stuck in ancient history now.
The modular is nothing but a block with diodes in it. I have a similar diode block on my Toyota 4X4 for the trailer. Allows one way flow of current so the feed back does not come back into signal light switch.
Too much load will burn up diodes. Like too many bulbs or a wire going to ground will take it out since it's going to take 20 amps to blow fuse.
Takes huge diodes with aluminum heatsinks for 20 amps
Do you think it is not compatible with the LED taillight or do you think it is a bad module? I could have sworn I used this module with BALs before.
I tried installing an old Kuryakyn 4859 Run-Turn-Brake controller on my 2008 Heritage Softail and the left turn signal (1156 bulb) would not light or flash. I am running a HD LED taillight, tried swapping out with a BAL taillight, same effect, no left turn light or flash. The right-side turn signal lights up and flashes fine when turn signal applied.

I'm thinking it's the R/T/B module. Remove the module and see if things works as they should in OEM form...
FWIW..... I used a Kuryakyn R/T/B module on a 2003 Heritage I bought new, for many years. I can't find the part number or the actual install date, but it was early in my ownership of that bike.
I added the R/T/B module first, and eventually added both a BAL-1 LED brake light, and then some Custom Dynamics LED turn signals with their load equalizer. This combination functioned well for several years.
About 4 years ago, while on a ride with friend's, I was informed that when I turned right, my left turn signals came on, and when I turned left, no turn signals came on...
I found the Kuryakyn module had gone bad, but it was numerous years old. I replaced it with a Custom Dynamics unit and all has been well since.

The way to confirm the module has konked out, is to remove it and see if the lights go back to OEM operation.
If the lights work as OEM with the module removed, the module is bad. If they don't work as OEM, you have a wire issues somewhere...
