Dyna major changes in years ????
Just curiuos abought what year Dynas the big changes accurd ?
I see the cu, in went to 96 and 1584cc for the 07 and 08 models .
When did they go to 6 speed ?
How abought tire sizes over the last few years /
And are they all fuel injected now ?
Anyone have any likes or dislikes on the 07 or possibly newly purchased 08 models ?
I noticed the 2008 Dynas are abought
$500 less in price then the 2007,s .
Only change I see in picture is the air breather shape .
One dealer said ( salesman ) the throttle is now electronic ?
Parts guy said no ??
Looking at going from a 2004 sportster to a Dyna low or custom .
One other thing I seen a post recently where a guy put the Dyna low handle bars and risers on a custom with out changing any cables .
Claims the cables are the same part # for both bikes ??

6 speeds on Dynas came in 06
current dynas run a 160/70 on the rear stock
the older Dynas used to have like a 130 or 140 I think
all Dynas are now FI and have been since 06
the actual physical throttle is not electronic... it is still the basic cable to armature set up as far asI know.. at least it is on my 06.

No electronic throttle... Your salesman is an idiot and does not know the product.
In 2006 is when they went with a new style frame, larger wheels, and six speed tranny. 2007 got the larger 96 engine.
Changing handles bars depends on how much of a change you want to go with. But you will be good with that swap.
