Hey, thanks, max. I've looked everywhere on this engine for a serial number...
all I could find is a boss with no numbers on it?

You'll have to strip the PC off that boss. Another location is on the right side case, top right cam case as you face the motor, facing forward.

Since you're going to be there, disassemble the clutch pack and check the spring (grenade) plate to see if it has loose or missing rivets. Could well be the cause of the clutch issues.

I doubt it has a grenade plate but there's no telling what kind of aftermarket clutch it has. I'm sure the bike rips.

I see nothing about the clutch being aftermarket...

If the clutch is OEM, it has the notorious grenade plate.
