Gas Cap Leaking
Yesterday I noticed that fuel appeared to be leaking from under the gas cap of my 2006 SuperGlide. The ring around where the gas cap screws in also appears to be loose. Is there a gasket? Should I/Can I just replace the entire gas cap assembly? Google hasn't been my friend, but I feel like I'm not searching for the right keyword. Gasket only seems to get me links for gasket kits to rebuild the motor. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar situation with my 05 Springer. I filled up and rode a few miles. Stopped for lunch and when I started back out, gas was pouring out from under my gas cap. If I shut the bike off, it would stop. turn on the key again, more gas.
My brother in law lived nearby, so we drained some fuel out into another tank. I drove home without incident after that. I changed gas caps and have not had another issue. I did a thread on it here:
