2005 Dyna with fuel inj and 11,000 Mies. Starts, runs, travels and then whenever shuts down. Wait 20 or 30 minutes and starts up again. Put in new plugs, no better. Fuels ok and no codes. Battery charged. Thinking maybe fuel filter, already ordered. Any other ideas.
Shuts down immediately probably electrical. Missing before shut down probably fuel.
Pull fuses out one at a time and clean fuse & socket with electrical cleaner.
Maybe ignition switch if it feels loose or sloppy. Should feel notches turning between off/run. Or run/stop switch on right grip. My first guess.
What do you mean by "fuels ok"? Did you do a pressure test? Look at the lines and regulator in the fuel tank. Easy to have a pinhole or leak from age or rubbing on the tank wall. Prime the pump and look inside the tank.

Could be fuel filter. Be ready next time and quickly remove filter and hit it with starter fluid.
Have an old fashion timing light. Use it to tell if it's the crank position sensor. However, that should throw a code.
Only early motors had cam sensor. Yours does not.
They have a wire coming out below right side timer cover.

Something very similar happened to me and my 2004 Super Glide. It ended up being the bank angle sensor. It wasn't a bad sensor, it just wasn't in the correct orientation. Either someone before me was in there messing around and didn't get it back where it needed to be or it vibrated/shifted out of place over time. Whatever happened once I lined it back up and put some loctite on the screw it never happened again.
