Icecaps, you know I thought about doing just that, but I thought that it kind of defeats the purpose of having detachable hardware. If I decide to switch between the fairing and the windshield I use for long trips I'll have to mess with the headlight every time. If thats what it takes then so be it. I got my bags back from the painter today and can't wait to hang them on the bike. I also installed a 2 to1 pipe over last weekend and plan on wrapping the header pipes with black heat tape. It should look cool with the black motor and hardware that come with the fxdx. I have used this exhaust wrap on our racecar with great results and I'm hoping that this will not only look good, but should also keep my pant leg from burning up.Again I want to compliment you on the work you have done with your Dyna. I will post some pics soon as I can complete the installations.

Thanks for the compliment on my bike. It's a bit away for the norm here in the landof Bobs. I can't wait to get back and puttogether again. Should have some new stuff to put onthere for me.
