I notice in a lot of the Dyna pics on this site that the bikes have forward controls. Don't most Dynas (execpt WG) come stock with mid controls? How hard or expensive is it to switch from mid to forward controls? I rode a Buell Blast in the safety course that had mid and my XL 1200C has forward. I definitely prefer the forward and initially looked at other bikes because of this. I really love the looks of the Dynas but would like to have the forward controls.

You can convert your dyna from mid to forward. Me, no, I prefer mid contrl and highway pegs. This gives me three (including the rear) differant positions to use.
Yep, mid is stock on all Dynas except the Wideglide. I'm thinking it was around $400 for parts and labor for my Superglide. I'm 6'2", so it was a must have.
If you look at my gallery you can see before and after. (the before is the pic of the bike on the dealer floor).
I just put foward controls on my Street Bob. No comparison night and day for me at 6-0' tall. Easy to install yourself with right tools and mechanical knowhow.
