Nice bike Skitchy,
I like that all those Customs have a full fender. I haven't looked, but thinking out loud (and possibly only for myself), I wonder if they have better console extensions than what is originally supplied? ... Maybe that silver cast finish pulley could be addressed also

I took the tank bib off for a week or two. Harleys paint job under the bib is sub par so I put it back. All the aftermarket extensions Ive seen (only looked for a minute) are leather or leather looking. Wouldnt mind chrome or stainless.
The pulley spokes done in black would flow with the street Bob wheels. I have new pulley bolts on order right now so we shall see.
Black trees and lowers would flow with the coverless struts as well ..and you know Ill be dissembling the front end to improve the suspension soon. Plus I wanna grease the steering head bearings.
Maybe some 13 bitubos out back ..in chrome.
Etc, Etc
@multihdrdr surprised you haven’t complained about the stickers on the down tubes yet!
what ever happened to those negative rake Fat Bob trees I sold you? Weren’t you gonna build a Dyna —Sportster forty eight style—or something?
Great lookin' bike. I also love the black wheels. Great deal too, I think.
As far as bags, I'll agree with those suggesting with nowhere to put anything, you'll ride it less. That said, I also agree they look TONS better without the bags. One option I saw in the past was single sided solo bags that hang lower on the left side. They attach between the primary and the rear spring. Maybe something to take a look at.
What upgrades does the bike have? Stage I, Stage II? What cam if Stage II? Stock header?

the Willie max throw over bags that came with it are fine for now, they just looked stupid with the giant seat and sissy. I’ve run solo bags in the past—actually made one out of a set of horse saddlebags before solo bags were a thing, but they don’t hold much. I may go with leather pros fxdxt style bags in the future.
The first order of business was tires, tubes and rim strips, 3 fluid change, brake flush (the old brake fluid looked like creamy Coca Cola) and now fork oil and fork spring upgrade. Soon a 13–13.5” rear suspension upgrade as well. I also have 2” extended MID controls to be dropped here on Monday.
The bike doesn’t even have a stage one—bone stock. One of the reasons I chose it, that and no handle bar upgrades so no electrical gremlins from lousy splice jobs.
I’m in California and the bike was originally from Idaho. May mean nothing to you but cali bikes come with some smog crap— totally removable—just another reason it was chosen.
heres a cali bike
