looking a bit silly with giant seat, sissy bar, square bags, quarter fairing and oxidized fork sliders.
cleaned it up a bit-looking more like a Dyna now. Its got Street Bob wheels and Street Bob rear signal relocaters so I ditched the chrome strut covers.
quarter fairing is growing on me
Did all three fluid change. Ordered tires, tubes and rim strips, the tires on the bike are ten years old with hardly any wear. Further forward mids on order too along with a few other cosmetics.
Picking up a two up Dyna seat, the one I installed is temporary, took it from a shop stool I put together a few years back made from my 07 seat I had.
Looks nice. But you will ride it a lot more if you have place to put stuff and big sissy bar to strap stuff too. Comes down to what you want to do with bike bags might make that rear fender look better. Maybe some bags you like the look of better. Something not square.
wont be putting a sissy back on but may get some quick detachable expandable bags(leather pros)
I don't care for the strut.
Not crazy about those bags either. But if you don't have storage, you don't ride. Fine if it is just a bar hopper. But for me to go bar hopping I need jacket, hoodie, gloves, clears,
I like leather bags that look like leather bags. Hertigage style without the studs are not bad.
Sleek bikes are like women's high heeled boots. They look good in them, but they ain't going far.
Previous owner butchered the strut covers ‘to make em work’ with the street Bob rear signal relocaters. Can’t have that kind of hackery. That’s why they HAD to go..
