if its a carb bike, clean the carb, check the petcock and tank for debris, change the inline fuel filer if you have one. Sounds like it can run the fuel fast enough
FXDL indicates a carb engine, if you are using the enrichener, that has to be pushed back in or it WILL foul the plugs and the engine will eventually die, usually in a couple of miles.
