I am going to fit a power commander and full system to my 07 bob and have a question.
What air cleaners are you guys running? Are any better than others or are they all pretty much the same?
Also, what's the difference between the available air cleaners and the Kuryakyn hyperchargers?
Thanks guys, It's my first Harley and I'm still feeling my way around.
You will also need the correct backing plate and hardware upon which to mount your K&N air filter element. Check with your Harley-Davidson dealer parts department.
SE 07 on the exhaust and SE Stg 1 on the suction PC III to control the needed xtra juice on myFXDC 07. It makes sense to buy suction and exhaust from the bike manufacturer and mapping will also be easier to download IMHO...of course
I like my Arlen Ness Big Sucker. Install was easy and it includes a K&N filter. I keep it clean and oiled and run it with the football cover removed.
Like labfreak said...consider the additional fuel needed to accomodate the new air flow.
Hyper charger is alot more expensive( $300) . but the Ness big Sucker flows just as good ($125) your paying for all that fancy plastic, not performance
