You are using oil because your oil light is telling you damaged the engine.

I'd check the primary, sprocket shaft seal could be bad, and allowing oil to migrate. My 88 uses oil in the interstate, and in general. my 96 didn't until it got to around 25k. I let the primary oil drain, while removing the cover. After about 30k miles I figured out it was going into the primary. I was probably burning some up to or blowing it out.

I just check mine cold, that it is around 1/2 on stick. And I try to do it every few hundred miles.

Fun busting the guys *****, if he learns from this fine.

With it being his first post, and with a name like "damager", and with it being how ridiculous his post is, I think he's just a troll. Or extremely stupid.

Except sherlock he has 282 posts. You think he created this account 10 years ago, as a sleeper troll account?

My bad! I didn't notice how many posts he had. Anyway, if he's a long time member, then the really stupid comment applies. I knew enough to check the oil in my mini bike when I was 10 years old.

He just thought these were exceptional machines and don't need it. Though he had a moden bike. Though in reality it is 15 years old. I get not checking it, thinking it doesn't use oil. What i think is dumb, is not checking it when he say the light. What I think is down right stupid, to the point maybe he should not a bike, is that after he found it low on oil, he continued to not check it.

Its trendy to accuse people of being trolls these days.

If the OP is neglecting his motorcycle engine by ignoring his oil pressure light, I can only imagine what the engines in his cages are like.

while you do wonder, chances are autos are just fine. Which is why he doesn't have the mindset for this.

So god damn funny, my daughter came home for the holiday and I always go thru the oil and tire pressures.

Oil level was barely hitting the dip, over a quart low; while hauling *** on Rt 70 at 80mph. At least the front tire was above 15psi this time.

2.4L Honda’s and Yokohamas with a V rating pay dividends.
