Default 2008 fat bob wheel help

Hello everyone, I’ve been eating to get some new wheels for my 2008 fat bob. I wanted to see if maybe these wheels would work. I know new spacers would have to be made. Other than the axel size would they work?

@Jojuarez3 I have moved this thread from the Welcome section to the Dyna Glide Models section as you will get better responses to your question in this section.
The Welcome section is more for introducing yourself & letting other forum members know what Harley Davidson you own. Please feel free to post a new thread back in the Welcome area to introduce yourself.

The width of the hub on the rear wheel you’re looking at is probably 7 1/4”. The rear hub on a Dyna wheel is 6 ž”. So it won’t fit. The front wheel you’re looking at will fit the fat Bob front end but you’ll have to figure out the spacers needed.

Yes. If you take your rear wheel off and measure the hub it will be 6 ž”. FL Softail rear wheels are 7 ź”.

And I quote "yours wheel is FX. The wheels he’s considering is FL." The Heritage Classic is a SOFTAIL with the Dresser FLSTS designation. The MoCo has been mix n match on the parts for decades. Just pointing it out.

Hey so a set up like this, could this be done on my fat bob. I’m unsure if the bearings would work. On past wheels I’ve bored out the lip for the 3/4 axel to allow my 25mm axel sleeve.

adding more info to my question: could I essentially use sealed 25mm bearings on a set up like this.
