For the money the Kenda Cataclysm's are the best performing tires I've had on either of my Dyna's. They are cheap and grip well in any condition, but don't plan on getting more than 7k-8k out of the rear. I'm currently running Metzeler 888's. They're great too, just harder on the wallet.
They are my favorite tire to run on my dyna. I run the stock size 160/70r17 rear and 100/90r19 front, and they were out of stock last time I needed tires so I ended up with Metzeler cusietecs and they're very similar and have been great as well.
Yup. I tried to tell him, earlier in the thread.
Great tire, they just don't last like some would want on a Harley. When I had my FXDLS, the rear only lasted 5K (after engine mods) but they did excellent in the corners and in the rain. The Scorchers almost got me killed in the rain.
