Maybe you should just look for a nice set of aftermarket wheels.. Get something new that will go well with the bike and feel good about the money you spent and not worry about it.. You can try Robs Used Harley Parts. I have purchased from them before. They used to list all their inventory now you have to call and ask.. It's worth a try, I know they have a lot of parts..
Honestly, As long as the wheel comes in straight, after it's powder coated, it might as well be new - and I like the style so in the end, this should lead to happiness, putting the pulley situation behind me with dual disc and shiny late model wheels will be cool.
Just the principle of paying new part prices for used parts that rubs me but when I have the bike back on the road in June as opposed to waiting until Aug or Sep, I won't care.
Getting somewhere, these are going to powder coat tomorrow. Bought the conversion install kit should be here well before wheel is done. Hopefully, in a couple weeks the rear will be repaired and back on the road while I wait on the dual disc stuff to finish trickling in from HD.
