Default Fuel tanks/ Medallions difference

Anyone know if 03 Road King Medallions will fit on a 03 Dyna wide glide ? I know the Road King is slightly bigger fuel capacity than a dyna. Looking at buying a pair of Medallions for my dyna. Most that I find are not in the best of shape except the Road King ones.

You can buy most of the emblems from HD direct if you want nice and new. I never had an issue using different model emblems, you just need to slide it around on the tank and find the right spot that the curves match. Some of the emblems are slightly flexible to help match the tank, some are not. I have Siwtchback emblems on my Road Glide and Panhead on my Wide Glide. Good luck.

I would think you could use a hair dryer or heat gun (carefully) to warm the emblems up and make them more pliable.

The newer ones yes, but Panhead and back are cast metal, not bending them.

It actually is pliable some. I was able to mold it into shape a little. I'll look into it more this weekend. As far as getting one from the stealership, it's a discontinued item. I actually pick some up on Ebay that are like new.
