New (to me) Dyna Wide Glide
Yup, I think that might look good.

I appreciate your childhood recollection and nice comments, Tommy!
1) Did you need to modify/cut/remove the brake pivot pin that is part of the right bracket in order to install the bracket on your WG.
2) I also notice now that the screws for the mounting bracket are socket head THREAD CUTTING screws. Are the holes in the frame, behind the currently installed plugs, not factory threaded?
3) Do you run stock WG pipes an did you find any interference problems with exhaust, heat shields, or elsewhere?
Thanks!

2) Pull the plugs out and look. Yes they are threaded.
3) No interference with the different headpipes that I've had on my bike.

Maybe the brake rod needs some adjustment, or a shorter brake rod was previously installed?
Look at your brake pedal compared to mine.

RE #2; Can the plugs be removed without destroying them? If the holes are indeed threaded, should I try to "unscrew the plugs", or just pry them out from the edge?

Why does your brake pedal look so far forward? Is that comfortable for you?

Great question Ben! As far as I know this bike is completely stock except for the speedo/tach and seat. With that said, my brake pedal is definitely a lot more forward than yours. I haven't found the position of the brake pedal to be any more uncomfortable than I initially found the forward controls. By now, I'd have to say I am getting used to both.
This is the current adjustment of my brake rod. I haven't taken anything apart yet, so I don't know how much adjustment is possible. Does this look to be adjusted close to the shortest possible position?
Thank you!

Yes, the mounting bosses have threads.
I had to remove my thunder header to install the right peg mount. Pro-tip, use hex head holts not allen head, there is no room to tighten with an allen wrench. I used stainless Allen cap screws on the left side for aesthetic reasons.
