This is the current adjustment of my brake rod. I haven't taken anything apart yet, so I don't know how much adjustment is possible. Does this look to be adjusted close to the shortest possible position?
Just pry the plugs out.

Disconnect the brake rod from the brake pedal. Unscrew the break rod. You will need two (2) wrenches. See the flats on the brake piston? Hold it so it does not move, with the second wrench break loose the jam nut. Then, unscrew the brake rod until it comes out completely. Measure the threaded end of the brake rod, then screw it back in halfway. Reattach the brake pedal.
The longer the brake rod is the closer it brings the pedal back towards your foot.
Sit on the bike and check the break pedal with your foot. Make rod adjustment as necessary for comfort.

@HDTom it looks like you may have extended forward controls.
I wouldn’t disconnect the brake pedal. Back off the jam nut and put a wrench on the master cylinder flats and adjust so that no more than ⅜” (half length of threads on brake rod) of threads are exposed. See #10 below.

Follow-up!

Thanks once again to all who replied with helpful advice and experience. My new mid-pegs (33032-99) are now installed without mid controls. The mid peg mount brackets (50666-07 & 50667-07) bolted right up with no interference at the stock headers and heat shield. While I am really adjusting well to the forward only controls, the mid pegs will provide a change up foot position when needed.

I did take a look at readjusting the brake pedal, I left the brake rod as it was. With my feet comfortably on the forward pegs, the brake pedal position is only slightly forward of the ***** of my feet and if I brought the pedal back any amount, Id likely be riding the brake going down the road.

I appreciate the help and suggestions you've all provided.
