Cant Get Dunlop A.E. tires anymore for my FXDI35, whats the next best tires that compares to them with the dual compound. I can get about 1 more season with my existing tires. looking to get new set in about a month or so. Suggestions please.
If you can find them and the price is right get them and put em up in the garage till you need them. I've started to do that with my bikes.. Keeping sets of spares because the the price is still good and soon I'm sure will go up.. Like everything else...
LOL, "false economy..."
When it's time to get consumables, then it's time.
Don't ride on tires that are 5+ years old.
(Trackday tires, it's <1 year old with no heat cycles...)
DUDE.... My tires rarely last over a year before it's time for new... LOL.. So when I see them cheap I buy them... Just like going to Cosco and stocking up..
I like the Metzeler ME888 on my 2019 FLHTP. I get 15k+ on the rears. The Metzler CruiseTec is a dual compound tire that is rated the same as the M888 load capacity.
I watch the ME888, CruiseTec and AE tires for sales and buy them then. I just put on new tires so I have about 9-10 months before I will be at 15k miles. So I have time to shop for sales.

I see you’re in Cape Coral. The shop I got mine from yesterday was from https://teschautoandcyclesales.com in Punta Gorda. I got the last 100/90 19 but they probably have a half dozen or so fronts in different sizes and also several rears, some are the new AE2.

Thanks for your reply, the fronts are no where. The rear is available but not fronts, And if I found one it would probably be at least two years old so I might as well look at something totally different I'm very interested for the Avon cobra Chrome in my sizes . I wish they were Multi compound rear, but there's not allot of choices for my ride. I like matched series sets ( front and rear ) and manufactured tires the front tire sets up for the rear I believe
