Default Quick question (I hope)

I took the top off my front brake master cylinder tonight to bleed the brake. When I came to put it back on I realised the cover has one end thicker than the other. So can you all just have a quick look at your bike and tell me which way round it should be please? And does it make any difference?

And does it matter how tight I tighten the screws in the cap?

ya i dont think it matters really which way but the thicker part should be tord the clamp and the thin side toward the end of the bars. tighness is not to much i go till you start to see the rubber bow out by the screw holes.
