Original Junior, I too like this paint set from Harley better than any I've seen. In person it is incredible. It definitely draws attention to the bike. I believe Harley did a good thing going with their own paint sets. They know that most Harley owners are going to modify their bikes or have them painted and I'm sure they wanted a piece of the action. It beats having to strip your bike down and sending out the parts and then waiting for them to return...lol
PSC, thanks for doing your time over here and serving. It's appreciated greatly. Enjoy the riding back home. Did you get your bike through AAFES in Baghdad?
That is 1 beautiful bike! I have never seen another like it!
Jim
Thanks R Racing. I took the time to check out some of your photos. Talk about wild. Your bike reminds me of the 08 Softtail that is coming out with the "add a seat" that gives the impression that the rear passenger is hanging out there. Does the woman in your life mind riding "out there", and how strong is it? It's quite interesting and I'm sure it draws a lot of attention.
It is a Harely and what's a Harely if you can't or aren't modifying..LOL.
Modifications? Who needs 'em? Harley builds great bikes to start with.
(Actualy, I don't have the money, time or skills to do any mods, so I keep saying stuff like that. I would LOVE to add better air flow, nice pipes, fuel control, black out most of my chrome, install a tach, get some removable bags for trips, etc, etc, etc. etc. But at least I have a bike, so I'm happy.)

Very nice ride, Jake!
LOL! Thanks Elginator. It really isn't too often I see a "stock" Harley. I think that's one of the things I love about them, everyone makes them their own.
Thanks Jake! I have had several female passangers. The only thing 1 complained about was there wasn't enough cushion for her behind,LOL! When I was mocking the bike up we had my neiphew who weighs in at 340 sitting on there jumping up and down trying to see how much flex was in the floating seat. he could get it to flex about 3/8 " so its pretty stout to say the least.

Wow, I think my wife would be nervous sitting out there like that! As you can see, there isn't too much cushion on my seat either and even though my wife likes to ride, she can only ride on this one for about an hour or so before needing a break. I told her I just couldn't put a standard two up seat on this bike, it had to look good.
I wish I had the know how and talent to do the kind of work you did myself. I can do some wrenching, but not the hand made mods. You did well.
