2016 FXDB headlight wiring

I don’t want to cut the OEM wire cover to find out ( yet), but anyone know if these wire are wires going to the headlight are the twisted can bus type ? Or can I extend them without issue ? Thanks for your replies.

After looking, maybe answer my own question. The headlight/ wiring has to be on its own 12 v source , so not can bus right ?

The wire to the headlamp is not twisted, but don`t cut the cover or the wire...

Well if I don’t cut the wire, how am I going to extend it ? Unless someone sells an extension w/ both plugs that I have yet to find, it’s going to need to be longer somehow. I also searched for an extension for headlight wiring- found none. Thanks

That short headlight harness is not part of the main harness, you can easily extend those wires, if you don`t like the idea of splicing in wire extensions, you could easily make a new headlight harness with the correct length for your project, all the connector and terminal part numbers are in the parts manual online at serviceinfo.com

Thanks Dan. I’ve made a few nice little wiring harness in my past yrs, so I might just make up new ( no splices) if I find there is not enough slack once I pull the tank.

LED turn signals up front, wired with load equalizers. LED tail light LP holder, bike was flashed so it worked from the shop. No codes for the fast turn or anything.
