My old 2004 Softail took 26 ozs. However, a 32oz. full quart would only raise it a very little amount above that.
The spec is the same for you DYNA. At 26 oz, level will just touch spring. Level bike and use a light. Once you see what makes your correct, write it down for future reference.
Joke in owners manual...

Depending on the model, it can be difficult to eyeball the fluid level when viewed through the clutch cover. We've all seen this image from the service manual.
On the touring models, this is what we see when the clutch cover is removed.
It's nearly impossible to see the fluid level on the bottom of the diaphragm spring.
As mentioned in the touring service manuals from that era, an alternative method is to measure 2.75" below the centerline of the clutch adjustment screw.

Well, you have to get your eyes above the opening and look down in...
Use a small flashlight.

Yep, at just the right angle, with my my flashlight, I can see the level. No matter how many times I try to get the level right by just putting in the "proper amount" it is never perfect.
Eyeballing it is the only way for me to ensure it is at that level on the diaphragm.
Don't think that's a diaphragm spring cutch in one example.
I`ll politely disagree
love your answers. Is that the lockup clutch option on a CVO or just the latest version of a Harley with a hydraulic clutch in post 5? I wasn't sure.
One can look carefully and see the red line does fall along the rear sprocket area but towards the front gives the impression the oil level would be very low.
I would definitely uses the amount level on that one.
Harley example for level with the hydraulic clutch actuated by a slave cylinder
