Default FXDF Riser Height Question

G'day all - I started talking about this just before the old Oz forum disappeared - I am in the process of doing a few mods to the Fat Bob, pipes, seat etc, and have ordered a 2" tank lift. Has anyone been down this road and if so can they tell me if I need taller risers for the handlebars or not? I like the bars as they are but may look at a set of Burleigh T-Bars if I need the taller riser height. I guess there is probably a limit to increasing riser height with standard clutch & brake cables, I don't really want to change them. Thanks in advance, and all the best to you all in this new forum, cheers!

If you get T Bars just get the size of bar you need , No risers with T Bar . YOu will have to look at your wires and cables
to see how much extra you have. Then decide how high you can go.
Good luck , and do 1 Thing at a time

Thanks mate,
Talking to the guys at Burleigh Bars now, getting their advice as I’m sure it’s not the first time this has been done, my intention is not to go too high but high enough to clear the tank without changing cables.

Typically you can go 8-10 inches without changing cables. You may need to tweak the front brake line a little but its easy and do-able if you go slow and take your time bending it.
